Objective To analyze the results of plague surveillance in Datong City, Shanxi Province in 2013 and 2015, and explore the relationship between plague prevalence and geographical features, rat density, rat species and parasitism flea epidemics in Datong, Shanxi province, and determine the possibility of plague in Datong. Provide scientific and reasonable countermeasures. Methods According to the requirements of “Plague Surveillance Program in Shanxi Province”, the monitoring data of 5 plague surveillance counties (districts) in 2013 and 2015 were collected and analyzed by retrospective epidemiological method. Results In 2013, the average density of Daurian ground squirrel in Datong was 0.75 / hm2 and 1.08 / hm2 in 2015; the average density of small mice was 2.68% in 2013 and 2.13% in 2015; The flea flea flea flea rate was 17.50%, the average flea index was 0.40, respectively, in 2015 was 16.21% and 0.40; 2013 Dunalus smithii flea average flea rate of 1.64%, cave flea index was 0.220, 2015 Respectively 2.42% and 0.05. In 2013, the rate of flea infection in rat’s nest was 16.00%, the average flea index was 1.30 and in 2015 it was 32.00% and 1.58 respectively. The 2013 and 2015 plague seroprevalence test results were negative. Conclusion The indexes of main hosts and vectors in monitoring sites in Datong are still relatively high. Compared with 2013, in addition to the small rat density and flea flea flea flea flea mortality rate is relatively low, cave flea and rat nest flea flea flea rate and all The flea index has an upward trend, indicating the possibility of plague is also rising.
