地处鄂西北汉水北岸、秦岭南麓的郧西县,是国家和省市重点扶持的贫困县。全县辖18个乡镇(区场),52万人口。农业人口有43.94万人,其中劳动力20.97万人,耕地面积48.6万亩,由于农业产业结构的调整和退耕还林,耕地实需劳动力11.68万人,现有农村剩余劳动力9.29万人。因历史原因,郧西交通十分落后,信息闭塞,农村群众生活十分艰苦。
It is located in the north bank of Han River in Northwest Hubei Province and Yunxi County in the south of Qinling Mountain. It is a poverty-stricken counties heavily supported by the state and provinces. The county administer 18 townships (area), 520,000 people. There are 439,400 agricultural population, including 209,700 labor force and 486,000 mu cultivated land. Due to the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure and returning farmland to forest, the actual labor force of cultivated land is 116,800, and the existing rural surplus labor force is 92,900. Due to historical reasons, Yunxi traffic is very backward, the information is blocked, the rural people's living is very difficult.
