文学艺术是一个神秘的世界,它对人具有神奇的征服力和巨大的美感魅力。事实就是如此。老年人看《三国演义》,常常“替古人掉泪”;青年人读《少年维特之烦恼》,有的效法维特而自杀;旧社会有些贫苦农民在《水浒传》的感召下,学着宋江打起“杀富济贫,替天行道”的旗帜举行起义,等等。那么,文学艺术的这种美感魅力的本质是什么呢?它是作品的各种美学特性作用于欣赏者的审美心理所引起的各种美感效应。这就是说,文学作品的美感动力是由主客体两个方面相互作用构成的,一方面是客体——作品美学特性对读者的诱导作用,
