陈独秀写过《宪法与孔教》,发于1916年11月1日《新青年》第2卷第3号,李大钊写过《孔子与宪法》,发于1917年1月30日《甲寅》日刊。此二者都由孔教“入宪”问题引发,都与康有为以“孔子为大教,编入宪法”的主张有关。李大钊开卷就说,他之所以用将“渺不相涉”的“孔子与宪法”扯在一起的怪诞之标题,乃是因为先有“宪法草案中规定‘国民教育以孔子之道为修身大本’”的“怪诞
