在本文中,我们介绍了一种基于光纤环镜的多波长光纤激光器。其中的光纤环镜由一个3dB保偏耦合器、一个偏振控制器和高双折射保偏光纤构成。通过适当调整光纤环镜中的偏振控制器,可使光纤环镜成为一个偏振无关的“梳状滤波器”;由液氮冷却的掺铒光纤(EDF)被用作增益介质。通过调节保偏光纤的长度可以实现对输出激光波长间距的控制。
In this article, we introduce a multi-wavelength fiber laser based on a fiber ring mirror. One of the fiber loop mirrors consists of a 3dB polarization-maintaining coupler, a polarization controller and a high birefringence polarization-maintaining fiber. By properly adjusting the polarization controller in the fiber ring mirror, the fiber ring mirror can become a polarization-independent “comb filter”; erbium-doped fiber (EDF) cooled by liquid nitrogen is used as the gain medium. The output laser wavelength spacing can be controlled by adjusting the length of the polarization maintaining fiber.
