由于进步观念对社会进步具有解释、辩护、批判与创新等功能 ,因而在每一时代人类都需要建构用以指导历史创造活动的进步观念。在当代 ,社会发展与进步中出现了许多新问题与新情况 ,迫切要求破除理性主义进步观念与现代西方社会危机观念及其消极影响 ,进而建构出关于社会进步观念的科学形态。从理论框架、历史地位与社会功能相统一的角度看 ,只有被准确理解和合理阐发的马克思主义进步观念 ,才是当代人应当确立的科学的进步观念。 Because progressive concepts have such functions as explanation, defense, criticism and innovation for social progress, human beings need to construct the concept of progress in guiding historical creation activities in each era. In the contemporary era, many new problems and new situations have emerged in the social development and progress. We urgently demand that the concept of the progressiveness of rationalism and the crisis of the modern Western society be negatively affected and the scientific form of the concept of social progress be constructed. From the perspective of theoretical framework, historical status and social function, only the concept of Marxism which is correctly understood and rationally elucidated is the scientific concept of progress that should be established by contemporary people.
