In 2002, Taiwan’s most popular picture book writer Jimmy’s “Left to the left, go right” was published by Beijing Sanlian Bookstore; in 2003, “Left to the left, go right” was adapted into a movie and starred by Liang Xiaoqi and Jin Chengwu. So “going left and going right” is not only the most familiar love story of the twenty-first century, it has also become a popular term used in many parts of the country. For example: “Hong Kong Film: Go Left, Go Right?” (“Southern Weekend” April 25, 2002), “moving to the left, commenting to the right” (China Youth Daily, December 6, 2003) Day), “Buying a House or Renting a House: Young People Can’t Get Staged Left to Right” (Shanxi Daily 2005)
