6月29日至8月4日,在36天里,锡林郭勒盟太仆寺旗境内接连四次发生山洪险情,造成全旗22处受灾,房屋倒塌102间、损坏317间,冲毁农作物14200亩,冲走牲畜1520头,冲毁路段18.3公里,受灾群众近4000人。旗消防大队官兵闻警出动,勇斗洪魔,出动官兵63人次,消防车辆16辆次,累计战斗时间近36小时,营救被困群众726人次,安全疏散3000余人次,最大限度地保卫了人民群众生命和财产安全,受到了当地党委、政府的高度评价和人民群众的普遍赞誉。
