1997年,对中国来说将是一个非同寻常的一年。 1997年,国际形势可望继续保持缓和;经济全球化趋势将进一步强化;各国之间的经济技术交流将更加频繁;外商直接投资规模会有所扩大。 1997年,是香港回归祖国怀抱的一年,是中共十五大召开的一年,是经济将保持更好发展势头的一年,是两个根本性转变将取得进一步成就的一年。 1997年总的宏观经济政策要保持连续性、稳定性和必要的灵活性,做到稳中求进。
In 1997, it will be an extraordinary year for China. In 1997, the international situation is expected to continue to be eased. The trend of economic globalization will be further strengthened. The economic and technological exchanges among all countries will become more frequent. The scale of foreign direct investment will be expanded. In 1997, Hong Kong’s return to the embrace of the motherland was a year, a year for the CPC’s 15th National Congress and a year for the economy to maintain a momentum of better development. It is also a year for two fundamental changes to be further accomplished. In 1997, the overall macroeconomic policies should maintain continuity, stability and the necessary flexibility so as to ensure steady progress.
