自1981年美国报告第一例艾滋病(AIDS, Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome)至今, AIDS的患病人数已逾50000,世界五大洲都有AIDS病例的报道.现已明确AIDS的病因是人类免疫缺陷病毒(HIV),其临床表现主要为Kaposi肉瘤、卡氏肺囊虫肺炎及其它原因不明的条件性感染,所有患者均有细胞免疫缺陷.有许多AIDS患者是以皮肤损害为首发症状的,如Kaposi肉瘤、口腔念珠菌病、慢性疱疹病毒感染及传染性软疣等.因此,皮肤科医师应熟悉AIDS及与AIDS有关的皮肤表现.
