Phenylacetic acid was used as the ligand to synthesize the copper phenylacetate complex. In the complex, three phenylacetates participate in the coordination and one phenylacetate exists as a counterion in the crystal. N atoms participate in the coordination to form the five-coordinated dinuclear complex of copper, and the intramolecular hydrogen bonds and the intermolecular hydrogen bonds connect the molecules into a three-dimensional network structure.
