在我国首个“防灾减灾日”和四川汶川特大地震一周年之际,经国务院批准,国家减灾委、民政部、地震局和北京市人民政府5月12日在京联合举办防灾减灾应急演练。中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理、国家减灾委员会主任回良玉观摩演练并召开加强防灾减灾工作座谈会。
On the first anniversary of China’s “Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day” and the Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan Province, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Wenchuan Earthquake, with the approval of the State Council, the State Disaster Reduction Commission, Ministry of Civil Affairs, Seismological Bureau and Beijing Municipal People’s Government jointly held a disaster prevention and mitigation Emergency drills. Hui Liangyu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council and director of the National Disaster Reduction Commission, observed and held a seminar on strengthening disaster prevention and reduction work.
