Zhao Jiaxiang, born in Shanghai in November 1933, graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Moscow Automobile Mechanics Institute in 1957 and obtained the diploma of outstanding students. After returning home, he successively worked in Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of Ministry of Machine Building and Materials Technology Institute of Aerospace Department. From 1979 to 1981, he studied carbon materials and carbon / carbon composites at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Pennsylvania State University and received high praise.
