面前一尊弥勒的根雕作品,行走状,比较少见。这是浙江省高级工艺美术师、温州市工艺美术大师郑人华(又名郑志华)的得意之作《乐》,系用一段中部微弯的黄杨木根巧雕而成。因树根中部一侧隆起,犹如一凸起的肚皮,郑人华就利用这一天然条件,在顶部雕刻了一个弥勒微笑的头像,保留了树皮作为袈裟,只在中部挖雕了一只拿着一串佛珠的手,在底部
In front of a Maitreya root carving works, walking, relatively rare. This is a favorite piece of music by Zhejiang High-level Craft Artist and Wenzhou City Arts and Crafts Master Zheng Renhua (aka Cheng Chih-wah). Because of the bulge on the side of the middle of the root, like a raised belly, Zheng Renhua made use of this natural condition to carve a smiling Maitreya head on the top, keeping the bark as a coyote and only carving one in the middle A string of beads of prayer beads at the bottom
