广西修志源远流长。1932年成立广西省修志局,1943年改设广西省通志馆。新中国成立后,1959年8月广西壮族自治区通志馆成立。1981年9月,自治区党委决定,恢复在“文化大革命”中被迫撤销的自治区通志馆。2006年1月,撤销自治区通志馆,由自治区地方志编纂委员会办公室主管全区地方志 Chi Chi in Guangxi goes back to ancient times. In 1932 the establishment of Guangxi Province, Chihpen Bureau, 1943, set up the Tongzhi Museum in Guangxi Province. After the founding of New China, in 1959 August Guangxi Tongzhi Museum was established. In September 1981, the regional party committee of the autonomous region decided to resume the Autonomous Prefecture Zhoushi Pavilion which was forced to cancel during the “Cultural Revolution”.
