柯鲁克教授是一位在我国任教三十多年的英国专家,现在是北京外国语学院的顾问,在外语教学方面有丰富的经验。这一篇“漫谈学习和讲授英语,”是他1981年应“星期日英语”的邀请作的广播讲话。这一篇讲话发表后,深受听众欢迎。去年四月,“星期日英语”再度邀请柯鲁克教授谈谈这方面的问题,柯鲁克教授继前一次“漫谈”,又写了一篇“再谈外语学习”。本来这两篇广播讲话已由北京国际关系学院中葆青同志在中央广播电台播讲过,但是,我觉得这两篇讲话不仅对高等学校的外语教学有很好的参考价值,就是对中等学校的外语教学及广大的外语自学者都有一定的参考价值,所以再一次把它译成中文,一方面更广泛地供我国外语教学的同志作参考,另一方面藉以感谢这位三十多年来为我国外语教学辛苦工作的英国友人。 Professor Ke Luoke is a British expert who taught in our country for more than thirty years and is now a consultant to Beijing Foreign Studies University and has extensive experience in foreign language teaching. This article, “Talking about Teaching and Teaching English,” was his radio address in 1981 at the invitation of Sunday English. After this speech was published, it was well received by the audience. In April last year, Sunday English again invited Professor Ke Luoke talk about this issue, Professor Ke Luoke last “talk”, also wrote an article “talk about foreign language learning.” These two broadcast speeches have already been broadcast by Central Bao Zhongqing from Beijing Institute of International Relations on the Central Radio Station. However, I think these two speeches not only have a good reference value for foreign language teaching in higher schools, Foreign language teaching and foreign language self-study have a certain reference value, so once again translated into Chinese, on the one hand more widely for our foreign language teaching comrades for reference, on the other hand to thank the more than thirty years English friend who worked hard for our foreign language teaching.
