In this study, double antibody sandwich method was used to determine the concentration of various Ig in supernatant of mononuclear cells of CVID and critically ill children, and the changes of EBV in culture were observed. The results showed that the number of B cells in the blood of CVID patients was significantly decreased, while the secretion of IgM still increased after EBV stimulation, but the secretion of IgG and IgA remained unchanged. Tip CVID patients not only a small number of B cells, and may be in a more naive stage of differentiation. In the B cell culture of patients with severe infection, the three Ig secretion increased significantly after EBV stimulation, which may be in line with the polyclonal activation and proliferation status of B cells in these infected patients.
