An in vitro study in the United Kingdom found that pramipexole reduces cell death and loss of mitochondrial function induced by methylphenylpyridinium ion (MPP +), which can induce Parkinson’s disease and therefore the drug Parkinson’s disease is expected to slow down the process. The study found that pramipexole can significantly reduce the effect of MPP + on cells and mitochondria, can be reduced by about 50%. If
