The study and calculation of the J equivalent principle can be used to evaluate the defects of ductile materials. The example shows that the instability point parameters (△α, σ) obtained by this principle are larger than that obtained by the EPRI method, and the corresponding J value is more different, and the difference increases with the hardening index n. quickly.
