锥形入口孔板的加工比较方便。适用的最小雷诺数很低,而且雷诺数最小与最大值之间的范围很宽,可能对测量高粘度流体来说要比1/4圆喷咀优越。并易于制造。锥形入口孔板在1964年首次引入英国标准B.S.1042第二版第一篇中作为英国国家标准内容许使用的标准节流装置。可以认为英国标准中所提供的数据是比较可靠的。但是这种节流装置在其他国家中尚未见有文献报导,可能还研究得不够多。因此只能以B.S.1042为准。锥形入口孔板,用角接取压,结构见图1。锥形与中心线之夹角为45~0±1_0。
