在设计界的交流活动中经常被问起,国内什么城市本土的设计力量比较强大。在我看来,中国本土设计力量强大的是聚集了来自全国各地精英的深圳和诗情画意的杭州。这两个城市虽然气质截然不同,深圳设计师相对商业,杭州设计师内敛一些,但他们都有一批设计名师,这些代表性设计师是我们了解这些城市设计面貌的窗口。比较巧合的是,这两个城市的新生力量都不太强大,不知道这是否是影响的焦虑。设计界对杭州新生代蒋建宇应该比较陌生,他的设计以餐厅及酒店为主,初步形成了可以命名为新东方的设计风格。虽然他的风格还不十分成熟,但至少我们可以从中看到属于中国的设计语汇,我们期待这一语汇的成熟。
In the communication activities in the design community is often asked, what local design strength of domestic cities is relatively strong. In my opinion, the strength of China’s indigenous design is the gathering of Shenzhen, a poetic city of Hangzhou, with elites from all over the country. Although these two cities have quite different temperaments, the designers in Shenzhen are relatively business-oriented and the designers in Hangzhou are introverted. However, they all have a group of design masters. These representative designers are windows for us to understand the design of these cities. Coincidentally, the freshmen in both cities are not strong enough to know whether this is an anxiety of influence. The design community should be unfamiliar with the Hangzhou Cenozoic Jiang Jianyu. His designs, mainly restaurant and hotel, initially formed a design style that could be named New Oriental. Although his style is not yet very mature, but at least we can see the design vocabulary belonging to China, and we look forward to the mature vocabulary.
