提纯的苜蓿花叶病毒(AMV)在电子显微镜下可观察到五种不同长度的短杆状粒体,其长度分别为:59.7nm、50nm、39.7nm,27.8nm、19.9nm。超薄切片的电镜观察,病毒粒体有排列地散布在寄主细胞质内。以枯斑寄主黑眼豇豆或菜豆(Pinto)的半叶接种法测定,AMV侵染烟草后,病毒从基部接种叶转移到顶叶的时间约72小时,而顶叶的明脉症状都在120小时才表现,144小时才出现花叶症状。
Purified alfalfa mosaic virus (AMV) under the electron microscope can be observed in five different lengths of short rod-shaped granules, the length were: 59.7nm, 50nm, 39.7nm, 27.8nm, 19.9nm. Electron microscopy of ultrathin sections showed that the virus particles were arranged in the host cytoplasm. The half-leaf inoculation method of black-spot cowpea or Pinto, a blight-host, determined that the virus transferred from the basal inoculated leaves to the parietal lobes in about 72 hours after AMV infection, Only performance 144 hours before the mosaic symptoms appear.
