Preface Today’s world has entered the information age, and about 70% of the information obtained by humans is visually perceptible. Therefore, information visualization has become one of the main directions in the development of contemporary information science. It can be said that the information can not be separated from the image, it contains commonly understood images and graphics. Imaging technology is a science that discusses how to turn information about the physical world around human beings, including humans themselves into images. This lecture introduces the imaging of the internal structure of three-dimensional objects. Although the object of study here is the human body, the knowledge involved is equally applicable to various non-medical subjects, such as non-destructive testing and evaluation of objects.
