Compaq has introduced a number of storage management applications such as data replication, dynamic expansion and storage redistribution, disaster recovery, centralized management of distributed storage, and more, including products such as DRM, EVM and SWCC. To support server and storage products from all companies faster, SANworks software takes the first step towards an open SAN goal. At present, these products have been used to improve the performance and management capabilities of existing storage solutions.
