Although the understanding of the origin of marine iron-manganese nodules has not been unanimously agreed, it is almost agreed that the formation of nodules is closely related to the sedimentary environment, and some elements of nodules come from sediments. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the elemental geochemical characteristics of sediments in Fe-Mn nodules enrichment area to study the formation mechanism of oceanic Fe-Mn nodules.
