In the first decade of the 21st century, the outbreak of the international financial crisis and the rapid rise of developing countries all took place outside the mainstream economics perspective, highlighting the shortcomings of the dynamic issues such as handling cycles and development. Wu Zhenyu, a researcher at the Development Research Center under the State Council, entitled “Dynamic Concepts in Economic Thought: From Surplus to Equilibrium,” systematically sorted out from the historical perspective how the issue of time and dynamics was formulated and theorized in the modern economy of diversified industrial production. The content includes the characteristics and contributions of major schools of economics in dynamic issues since mercantilism. The general idea that this book attempts to convey is that the marginal revolution has shifted the focus of economic analysis from producer to consumer, shifted from surplus to equilibrium, lost part of the move
