我国当前的职业道德缺失现象较为严重，原因在于：市场经济存在负面效应；职业道德建设滞后于社会经济的发展；职业教育重才轻德；监督管理机制脆弱乏力；社会激励机制偏颇片面。因此，加强职业道德建设，必须完善社会主义市场经济体制；构建各行各业干部的职业道德规范；培育主体的自律意识；健全职业道德的制约机制和激励机制；以领导干部的职业道建设为契机，带动全社会的职业道德建设的深入开展。从而全面提高社会的职业道德水平。
