日本女士沟胁千年和中国军人杜江群(原名庹存宝)之间的爱情故事,从上个世纪50年代一直延续至2014年。2014年6月,在他们相识相恋60年后,沟胁千年女士的骨灰从日本被带到武汉,在扁担山公墓和她一生挚爱的人——杜江群合葬在一起,了却了她生前的夙愿。2015年3月29日早上,武汉下着霏霏细雨,杜江群的侄孙和爱人为他们的两位前辈敬献了鲜花。在沟胁千年与杜江群的合葬墓碑上,有这样一段纪念沟胁女士的铭文:“一九四四年从日本来到中国东北,随后十年作为中国人民解放军护士随军南下,参加了解放战争及和平建设。其间与军人杜江群相识相爱。生前遗嘱将部分骨灰葬于中国,与杜江群合墓。”这座合葬墓的背后,是一段跨越半个多世纪的绵延情愫……
