A young boy was playing with a ball in a street．He kicked the ball so hard that it broke the window of a house．And the ball fell into the house．The boy ran away．
　　一个小男孩在街上踢球。他踢得太使劲了，砸坏了一所房子的窗户，球也掉进了房子里。小男孩跑掉了。
　　A few minutes later，he re-turned and knocked at the door of the house．When a lady opened it．he said：“My father will come and fix your window very soon．”
　　几分钟后，他回来敲房子的门。当一位女士打开门时，他说：“我爸爸很快会来给你修窗户的。”
　　After a while a man came to the door with tools．The lady let the boy take his ball away．
　　不一会儿，一个拿着工具的男子来了。于是这位女士就让小男孩把球拿走了。
　　When the man finished fixing the window，he said to the lady，“That will cost you ten dollars？”
　　“But aren’t you the father of that young boy?”the woman asked．He was sur-prised．“No!But aren’t you bis mother？”
　　这位男子修好窗后，他对这位女士说：“总共10美元。”
　　“难道你不是那个孩子的父亲吗?”这位女士问道。这位男子很惊奇。“不是。你难道不是他的母亲吗?”
