From March to October 1989, a rare epidemic of anthrax broke out in several counties (cities) in Jiangdu, Qamdo Prefecture, Tibet. Nearly 600 cases of onset, more than 150 deaths. The epidemic spreads over a long period of time because the initial clinical manifestations of the anthrax epidemic were not recognized and the diagnosis was delayed by the delay. Now the survey results are reported below. I. Overview Qamdo is a pastoralist area mainly adjacent to Tibetans and Sichuan Province. This is an anthrax disease for Tibetans. It is understood that in 1987 Jiang Da was a heavy snowstorm area, which left unmanaged dead animals and seriously polluted winter pastures. In the spring of 1989, there was a shortage of warm and dry forages, which provided the conditions for the oral infection of anthrax by herbivorous livestock.
