当前,有的地方有一种现象值得重视,这就是信谣、传谣、造谣。有的党员干部直接参与,甚至振振有词,说得神乎其神。它干扰了正常的工作和生活秩序,涣散了组织纪律,破坏了同志间的团结,败坏了党风和社会风气,损害了党和政府的形象,必须坚决予以制止,决不能让其自由泛滥。造谣者的动因有各种各样,有的怀有不可告人的目的,以谣言杀人,又不落“谋财害命”的罪名,惟恐天下不乱;有的因谣言符合自己的口味,借刀杀人,以谣惑众,混淆是非,从中捞利;有的捕风捉影,道听途说,或涉新猎奇,添油加醋,以示不凡。谣言是自由主义的一种表现,是剥削阶级低极庸俗的市侩行为。要刹住谣言,必须努力提高广大党员干部和人民群众的政治觉悟,大力营造讲学习、讲政治、讲正气的氛围,要求党员自觉做到不信谣、不传谣、不造谣。谣言之所以有市场,就是因为有人没有充分认
