石棉水泥管是非金属管材中较好的一种,它具有内压强度高、抗渗性好、导热系数低、耐蚀性强和输送能力不随时间而下降等优点。国外在输水和输气工程中使用此种管材已有四十多年的历史。实践证明,只要能保证管子质量和使用正确,在一定条件下可以用它来代替金属管材。近几年来,不少单位使用我国自制的石棉水泥管已取得成功经验。例如,北京自来水公司1960年用石棉水泥管铺设了近26公里的上水道,大连煤气公司铺设了10.8公里的煤气输送
Asbestos cement pipe is a better one of non-metallic pipe. It has the advantages of high internal pressure strength, good impermeability, low thermal conductivity, strong corrosion resistance, and no decline in the conveying capacity over time. It has been more than 40 years since the use of such pipes in water and gas transmission projects abroad. Practice has proved that as long as it can ensure the quality and use of the pipe is correct, under certain conditions it can be used instead of metal pipe. In recent years, many units have used our homemade asbestos cement pipe to achieve successful experience. For example, the Beijing Water Supply Company laid a total of nearly 26 kilometers of watercourse with asbestos cement pipes in 1960, and Dalian Gas Company laid 10.8 kilometers of gas transmission.
