大青山实验局是经营热带、南亚热带珍贵用材树种的试验基地,全局有林地29.5万亩,有五个固定苗圃和二个临时苗圃,分别设在垂直高度不同的山地上。由于气候、土壤、灌溉水质的不同,各苗圃的管理措施所用时间长短的不一以及所育苗木树种繁多,因此,不同苗圃中各种苗木存在明显的差别。为了探索山地苗圃的地形、土壤养分变化与苗木适宜性等问题,笔者于1982—1983年在这些苗圃地上,分别取土样化验,并在各类苗木中取生长中等的苗木30—100株,测定其高生长,现将有关资料整理如下:
