宗教戏剧是中世纪戏剧的主体,道德剧是宗教戏剧的一种。《每个人》(Everyman)是中世纪道德剧的杰出之作,作品具有浓郁的宗教气息和寓言风格,主要探讨世人如何对待死亡和救赎的问题。本文拟通过探讨剧中“每个人”的死亡观与救赎观,来了解中世纪道德剧的戏剧传统。
Religious theater is the main body of medieval drama, moral drama is a kind of religious drama. Everyman is an outstanding masterpiece of medieval moral drama. The works are rich in religious atmosphere and fable. They focus on how the world treats death and redemption. This article intends to understand the drama tradition of medieval moral drama by exploring the concept of death and redemption in the drama Everyone.
