1988～1989年在大田进行了抗旱品种的筛选,尽管用流量计控制灌水,但灌水量不太准确.1990年～1991年在水泥池中继续进行抗旱品种筛选试验,用水表准确记载灌水量,试图查明灌水量对抗旱品种生长发育的影响及其生理生化特点,为小麦节水高产奠定理沦基础.
