In particular, Schaeffler Group has developed rolling bearings for bearing support of refrigerator compressors, making a significant contribution to energy efficiency. FAG thrust ball bearings are particularly suitable for bearing support of refrigerator compressor eccentric shafts. It replaces the plain bearings typically used in this installation in refrigerator compressors and reduces the overall compressor energy consumption by 5%.
