[International Nuclear Engineering, November 1982, p. 48] The vastly changed instrumentation and control system of the 1.3-megawatt (e) nuclear power plant recently designed in France. In addition, the early 900 MW nuclear power plant control system is also being improved and updated, such as additional safety dashboards, improved alarm system. These changes and improvements are mainly based on the operating experience of nuclear power stations in recent years and the lessons learned from accidents of all kinds, especially the Three Mile Island accident. The second is due to the rapid development of electronic and data processing systems. However, due to the standardization of nuclear power plants, these changes still encountered some resistance.
