中国的人口重心历史上由西逐步向东移动是西部生存环境恶化所致。政府应当鼓励西部贫困地区的农民向沿海地区迁移,以减轻人口对西部地区生态环境构成的压力。而不是限制这个进程。
The fact that China’s population center of gravity has moved eastward from west to east in history is due to the deteriorating living environment in the west. The government should encourage peasants in impoverished western areas to migrate to the coastal areas in order to reduce the population pressure on the ecological environment in the western region.
