Intravesical recurrence often occurs after the treatment of newly diagnosed upper urothelial carcinoma (UUT-UCs). Bladder perfusion is widely used to prevent the recurrence of transplanted UUT-UCs after transurethral resection of the prostate. However, the effect of bladder infusion chemotherapy on preventing the recurrence of bladder tumors after UUTUCs has not yet been reached. This study conducted a meta-analysis of published clinical studies, comparing single surgery with surgery and postoperative chemotherapy.
