Tokyo Institute of Technology Institute of Resources and Chemical Professor Tian Zheng studied the impact of magnetic field on the reproduction of E. coli. The three Escherichia coli strains, placed at about 12 Tesla magnetic fields equivalent to ten million times the geomagnetic field, reproduce well with adequate nutrient supply and reproduce only with minimal nutrients, a phenomenon that occurs in all species. The impact of magnetic fields on living things, so clearly confirmed is very rare. Professor Zheng Tian bacteria used in the experiment is a clear genetic structure of the three E. coli. One group gave sufficient nutrients; the other group only gave minimal nutrients and placed a magnetic field of 11.7 Tesla in a nuclear magnetic resonance device and incubated for 5 to 10 hours.
