EPS Emergency Power Supply is a new type of fire emergency power supply adopting advanced power inverter technology according to the requirements of national standards, IEC standards, architectural electrical design codes and fire protection design codes. As a manufacturer of dangerous chemicals, petrochemical enterprises have higher requirements on the reliability and stability of lighting systems and fire protection systems. In the event of an accident, EPS shall ensure the supply of lighting and fire loads when all or part of the power outage has occurred. This article will combine two actual cases, through the comparison of two different power distribution design schemes to explore the economy and feasibility of EPS independently assuming lighting load in petrochemical enterprises.
