How to make the maturity and practicability of scientific research and production achievements reflected in the archives in order to give full play to the role of science and technology archives is a very significant issue. Comrades at the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy have made useful attempts in this regard. Their courageous and in-depth study of their work attitudes is worth learning and emulating by vast numbers of scientific and technological archivists.
