目前玉米亲本自交提纯,主要采取一般单繁套袋法,但因多次套袋授粉,工序复杂,且易使异株、杂株花粉混入,降低纯度。宋杖子大队对单繁提纯,姊妹系提纯,一般套袋提纯,瓶生套袋提纯等四种做法进行了比较试验,结果表明,「瓶生套袋法」简便易行,且一次可完成全部提纯过程,避免因多次套袋而引起的异株花粉飞入,纯度高,是一种比较好的方法。
