中外合资的南通迪施有限公司经过一年的筹建,于去年11月20日正式开业。这家由中国远洋运输总公司、广州海运局、香港海通有限公司和英国迪施国际有限公司合资经营、总投资为140万美元的公司,主要为国内外各航运公司和陆上用户,提供柴油机铝活塞、钢活塞、缸头、排气阀等零部件的翻新和修理服务,以适应国际上特别是我国远洋运输事业的发展,改善船舶柴油机主要零部件的供应,缩短船舶修理周期,减少外汇支出。
