中文学名:红嘴鸥家族印象:体形和毛色都与鸽子相似,体长37~43厘米,翼展94~105厘米,体重225~350克,寿命可达32年。嘴和脚皆呈鲜红色,身体大部分的羽毛是白色,尾羽黑色。一般生活在江河、湖泊、水库、海湾,繁殖于我国天山西部地区及东北部的湿地,西伯利亚也有分布。在中国东部及北纬32度以南湖泊、河流及沿海地带越冬。主食是鱼、虾、昆虫、水生植物和人类丢弃的食物残渣。
Chinese name: red-headed gull Family impression: body shape and color are similar with the pigeons, body length of 37 to 43 cm, wingspan 94 to 105 cm, weighing 225 to 350 grams, life expectancy of up to 32 years. Mouth and feet are bright red, most of the body feathers are white, tail feathers black. Generally living in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, the Gulf, breeding in the western part of China’s Tianshan and northeast wetlands, Siberia is also distributed. Overwintering in eastern China and 32 degrees south latitude lakes, rivers and coastal areas. The staple food is fish, shrimp, insects, aquatic plants and human food waste discarded.
