大质数蜗轮的滚切加工比较复杂。因为一方面具有蜗轮的特点,要有切向进给的差动补偿关系;另一方面它又具有大质数轮的特点,需要补偿分齿不能采用原齿数挂轮而多于或少于实际的齿数,所以差动值是复合参数值,各部挂轮计算难度较大,同时介轮的选加,诸如回转方向问题、滚刀顺逆进刀问题等,极为复杂。总之,正确运用、掌握这种滚齿加工中最复杂的技术是十分必要的。下面以 FO—10(捷克)滚齿机(备有切向刀架)为例,就各传动链的分析及滚切实例分述如下:
