幼龄果园覆盖率低,投入大,效益低,可在其行间套作,以便合理地利用土地,达到“以短养长”的目的。近几年,我们在幼园行间采用地膜覆盖套作西瓜取得了良好的效果。具体做法如下。1 整地作畦在整地前每亩施1000公斤有机肥,同时撒入2—3公斤的敌百虫粉,以杀死园中的地下害虫,然后将行间深翻(深30厘米)整平,做成2米宽的高畦,再用水浸透畦面。2 选用良种实践证明,果园内可间作郑杂五号、新红宝、新澄一号等品种。
