40年代昆明的京戏舞台上,票友演出相当活跃.其中有个唱老生的凌霄馆主,嗓音嘹亮,做工细腻,颇受圈内人推誉.凌霄馆主者,龙云第三子龙绳曾也.龙云对儿子溺于唱戏,十分反感.可是却无法阻止他粉墨登场,父子间有着较深的矛盾.龙三原住昭通原籍,龙云让主持家政的胞妹龙志桢加以管教.1935年8月龙志桢病故后他来到昆明,住在长兄龙绳武家.其时,他在家乡已经加入洪帮,当上了“袍哥”大爷.
