使煤粉火焰稳定的原则应该是:合理组织气固两相的煤粉气流使煤粉迅速进入燃烧室中的高温和有合适氧浓度的区域,并使煤粉和携带它的气体局部分离,形成局部集中的高煤粉浓度又有高温和合适氧浓度的煤粉着火有利区。这是燃烧设备中保持煤粉火焰稳定和提高燃烧效率的关键。现已广泛应用的旋流式煤粉预燃室和某些其他煤粉燃烧设备已由实验和数值分析证实了这个使煤粉火焰稳定的原则。
