今年7月2日,明万里长城东部起点——山海关的角山景区出现两次‘佛光’奇观。这是这个景区自去年8月7日首次发现“佛光”以来,第五次出现的奇观。7月2日,山海关区退休干部高晓钟和退休工人李峻华等4人晨练登角山。6点20分,他俩向后山涧看望远离的伙伴时,竟看到一个奇特的景象:白色的云海中,自己身罩五彩光环的身影。这就是角山“佛光”。当天下午4时50分,角山景区主任刘学勤和一名职工来到栖贤寺附近.又看见角山“佛光”。一天内出现两次“佛光”实为罕见。据角山景区管理处主任刘学勤介绍,去年8月7日角山首次发现“佛光”自然奇观后,他们开始注意测侯。发现在1996年10月23日下午4时15分,11月3日上午9时及今年7月2日共5次有佛光出现。

According to Liu Xueqin, director of the Management Office of Jiao Shan Scenic Area, on August 7 last year, after Cape Mountain first discovered the natural wonders of “Buddha Light”, they began to pay attention to measuring Hou. It was found that Buddha Light appeared at 4:15 pm on October 23, 1996, 9:00 am on November 3 and July 2 this year.
